Paul Roby
Paul has worked for most of his career in treasury and capital
markets roles in the banking and consultancy sectors. He joined
Barclays Bank in 1980 working in the Treasury Division, as an asset
liability manager and a financial engineer covering money markets
products. After a spell with Deloitte as a management consultant
on financial risk management strategies, policies and procedures,
Paul joined Charterhouse Bank's Treasury operation to establish
a Capital Markets business, being made an executive director in
1991. In 1993, he moved to Royal Bank of Scotland where he led the
team responsible for the structuring and marketing of derivative
products. He then set up a credit trading team responsible for pricing,
hedging and trading of portfolios of Eurobonds and credit derivatives.
Since 1999, Paul has been a consultant specialising in advice to
Banks and Corporates on finance, treasury and capital markets activities.
